We are a non-profit corporation set up and operating in the State of Florida
to serve developmentally disabled individuals with behavior problems in community-based homes and in the
community. The six (6) bed homes are set up to take either previously institutionalized residents or residents residing
in the community who run the risk of being institutionalized due to the serious nature of their handicap(s).
Upper management does a magnificent job, giving the individuals an environment
of a normal home-like setting. All employees are caring and with the challenges
presented by the individuals we serve, go through many learning experiences.
It is not uncommon for the individuals to give the staff a new understanding of a life situation. This makes for a
satisfying experience for concerned. The individuals we serve show a keen responsiveness to the training provided
by all.
By yielding to the training by staff, the redirections presented to the individuals make their lives more comprehensive
and adjusted.
