them opportunities and choices in order to live satisfying and rewarding lives.
The principles and philosophy set forth in the developmental model, which assumes that all mentally
handicapped persons, regardless of the degree of retardation or handicap, are capable of learning, growth, and
development, are followed in setting up the Individual Program Plan. The developmental model implies that
learning takes place in a sequential fashion with personal growth and knowledge progressing from the simplest to
most complex. Most programming at McClusky Enterprises, Inc. is geared toward meeting those skill acquisition
goals in order to help provide opportunities and choices for individuals to live satisfying and rewarding lives. By
focusing on Support Plan outcomes as our goals, we are able to assist individuals and attempt to achieve the goals
and aspirations.

skill acquisition programming to meet our residents’ needs. The resident’s health and safety come first and
